Ramlee, master of the acting game

I WAS working as usual in the Malaysian High Commission in Canberra that Tuesday morning (April 29, 1973) when the commission received the news from Wisma Putra that P. Ramlee had passed away. It was a shock to us as Ramlee was still comparatively young and still had many years ahead of him to contribute to the entertainment world.
