Banking on delegates to `Save Gaza'

KUALA LUMPUR: In between politically charged debates, delegates and visitors at the Umno general assembly found time to visit the many food stalls set up outside the Putra World Trade Centre. One of the stalls were selling an array of "Save Gaza" T-shirts and chocolate spread, proceeds of which will be sent directly to victims of the recent Israeli attacks. The initiative was by the Artistes' Association of Malaysia, which hopes to capitalise on the large crowd at the assembly to collect donations for the people in Gaza.
