Catastrophe in Khartoum

SUDAN, at one time the largest country in Africa, was the magic of the continent. Then, Khartoum was White and Blue Nile and everything nice. Now, it is just “a used to be”. If before it was mostly a war with others, it is now one among themselves. Like the clashes in Khartoum and its sister-city, Omdurman, on Saturday between Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo’s Rapid Support Forces and the Sudanese Armed Forces led by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. If blame must be placed, it has to be on the shoulders of these two men of machinations.
