Police recover body of boy fish-bombing victim

SEMPORNA: Police have recovered the body of a boy believed to have died during a fish bombing off Tatagan island here. Authorities began the search after being alerted on Wednesday, days after the incident. District police chief superintendent Mohd Farhan Lee said authorities exhumed a fresh grave at Kampung Halo on Wednesday. “The deceased is a non-citizen believed to be 10 years old, based on the condition of the body.” The case is being investigated under Section 304A of Penal Code for causing death due to negligence.
