Sarawak ups weekly flights ahead of CNY
KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has increased weekly flights to the state from 307 to 562 starting Friday. State Transport Minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin on Friday said the committee had agreed to increase the flight frequency after taking into consideration factors like Sarawak being in Phase 4 of the National Recovery Plan and the upcoming Chinese New Year. He said fully vaccinated Sarawakians, Malaysians and foreigners who had been in Malaysia for at least 14 days did not need to apply to enter the state.
