MCA's longest-serving president

DATUK Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik will go down in history as the longest- serving MCA president, having in-herited a party still reeling from a leadership and financial crisis in 1986, and capping his political career in the aftermath of what is regarded as the worst split in MCA's history.
